I’ve been terrible at updating the blog here, but I don’t want to give the impression that things are dead inside the Incubator.
Quite to the contrary!
The last several months have been very exciting, as we’ve added new companies, continued Free Lunch Fridays with excellent guest, and even celebrated major milestones of some of our residents. Here’s a breif recap of the last few months:
Since the Fall, we’ve added several companies to the Incubator, like Profista, Voice123, (working on LetMeGo), and Varud. We’re also excited that Ro Gupta — the new VP of Business Development at Disqus — will be taking up residence here and that the Social Bomb team will be growing into additional space. The Incubator is full of hustle and bustle! Come join us.
Free Lunch Fridays is still the main reason most of us come to work on Fridays. Since our first update, we’ve enjoyed talks from Dennis Crowley, Mark LaRosa of QuotaCrush, Franklin Madison of ITAC, Aly Campbell of AMP3, Aaron Cohen, and John Katzman of 2tor (also an Incubator resident), who reminded us to read these great articles about “Entrepreneurial Terror.”
Lastly, I’d like to give a special shout-out to our resident companies who have had major milestones. Comixology launched its iPhone application in November, Social Bomb got its first game into private beta in December, PerformLine launched its transparency platform, and Angelsoft (a sister company to the incubator) released version 3.4 of its software.
That’s it for now! I promise more frequent updates in the coming weeks!
